I’ve always thought kidswear is fascinating—it looks like we’re selling clothes, but what’s really happening is those few minutes every morning:
your child doesn’t want to get dressed, you’re rushing, the neckline feels too tight or the sleeves are restrictive, and once you finally get them dressed, you still have to figure out whether it’s going to be hot or cold today.
Modearo grew out of these small, real moments.
I’m the founder of Modearo. We’re a small team, and we handle day-to-day operations and fulfillment in Missouri, USA (as shown publicly on our website). We operate online only—no in-store shopping and no made-to-order customization—because we’d rather focus our time and energy on one thing:
making the few pieces kids wear every day comfortable, durable, and truly hassle-free.
Why did we start Modearo?
A lot of kids’ clothing looks great on camera, but children’s lives never follow a camera script:
They squat, crawl, run, and roll around on the carpet.
They suddenly shout “I don’t want this!” and yank the buttons open.
And they can wash a garment in the machine until it turns loose and shapeless—sometimes after only a couple of washes.
What we want to solve isn’t “the perfect outfit for a photo,” but the clothing problems of real life.
That’s why from day one, Modearo has insisted on this:
clothes should be soft and skin-friendly, easy to move in, and easy to put on and take off. What parents care about most is a smoother morning—less struggle before heading out, less stress, and no surprises after washing.
We build those priorities into our patterns, fabrics, and details.
What do we sell—and why is it organized this way?
The structure you see on our site follows our everyday-life logic:
Girls: Tops / Dresses / Rompers / Bottoms
Boys: Tops / Bottoms
Accessories: small essentials that complete the “we’re missing just one thing” moments
Summer / Winter: seasonal collections organized around high-frequency needs
Sale: styles that are especially good for restocking, grouped in one place
We don’t try to “sell a bit of everything.” Instead, we focus on the categories kids wear most often—and wash most often—so choosing is simpler and more reliable.
Where do our products come from?
We emphasize using natural fabrics to make everyday pieces kids actually want to wear, and we state clearly:
“Designed & made in US with natural fabrics.”
That means we prioritize what matters most in daily wear: softness, breathability, freedom of movement—rather than complicated designs that look nice but don’t work in real life.
We also design with “frequent wear and frequent washing” in mind. Kids shouldn’t have to be careful with their clothes. They should be free to play.
What problems do we help solve?
Modearo isn’t here to make you “buy more.” We want you to second-guess less and redo less:
Smoother mornings: easier to put on, kids are more willing to cooperate—and “I can do it myself” becomes more possible.
More freedom to play: patterns that fit movement, so running, jumping, and rolling around never feels restrictive.
Built for real-life wear and wash: made to handle the intensity of kids’ daily routines, and to hold up through frequent laundering.
More confidence buying across regions: we ship from Missouri, USA; most orders are processed within 1–2 business days. We support shipping to the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe, and provide tracking and delivery-time references. U.S. orders may qualify for standard shipping benefits when they meet a certain order value (Shipping Policy — link).
Someone always responds: for sizing help, order updates, or product questions, our customer support is available 24/7.

A small closing note
Modearo hopes to be the kind of choice you don’t have to overthink:
Open the closet, grab a piece, your child puts it on—and you’re out the door.
To school, to the park, to travel, to any adventure that belongs to them.
We’re honored to be part of those imperfect, wonderfully real everyday moments.
